The PICHA grant is a three tier grant that provides funding for contributors. In the grant process, contributors are required to pitch their concepts based on the year’s themes (or categories) and if selected, submit a minimum of 50 images to the PICHA Library in line with their pitch concept. Usually the fundamental theme will be speaking to diversity and inclusion, with categories varying based on selected concepts.

About PICHA
PICHA is a stock photo platform with the mission to provide curated visuals that include African Americans, Africans, and generally the larger African diaspora.
PICHA believes that original stories can change perceptions and we are here to do just that; to bring the voices, faces, and stories of modern Afro and Black communities to the world and the brands we serve.
While we tell stories about black communities through visuals, images come from contributors who are from diverse Afrocentric communities in Africa, the US, Europe and Brazil.
We also support our contributing photographers with 50% of all commissions go directly back to the contributor.
